In trying to defend Ajit, Himanshu passes the blame to Sakshi. This promotes the ideal that women are weak and naive who need to be protected from other men like Ajit. This is also used to restrict the movement of women. However, shouldn’t Sakshi have the freedom to make her own choices as long as she has complete information?
